Youth Ministry Summit is a 3-day retreat on the beach designed to help youth ministers fall back in love with what they do and how they do it.
REFRESH YOUR MINISTRY MINDSET
Hit reset
- Completely planned
- Refreshing and encouraging
- Connect with peers
- Practical and igniting ideas
- Feel equipped
One of the best parts about this gathering has been and continues to be the opportunities for people in ministry to connect with others who are in similar ministry areas. We want you to meet new people, get to know them, and share a meal together while exchanging ideas that can help you tackle ministry in a large church setting.
We know that there are several hurdles that must be crossed when doing ministry. We have set aside time during the Summit for you to talk, pray with, listen to, and ask very specific questions with youth ministers at churches of varying sizes. We have also created some time for focus groups to meet so that each of you can best share ideas with those that plan for the same areas of ministry. We have seen how these times can be extremely valuable for you to leave with ideas, challenges, and relational resources.
This year we will have a variety of speakers. We want these people to be able to dive into the word, relate with you in ministry as well as get to know you.

Megan Marshman
Megan Fate Marshman is determined to use her life to spread hope, share truth, and celebrate others. She is finishing her Doctorate of Ministry as she serves as a teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church and the Director of Women’s Ministries at Hume Lake Christian Camps. She also shepherds women at Arbor Road Church in Long Beach, California. If you’ve not had the chance to be in a room where she’s speaking, change that in a hurry. She’s authentic, she’s compelling, and she doesn’t make everything about her. She invests her time in people, writing books and Bible studies, and exploring all over the globe sharing the love of Jesus. She recently released the Beautiful Word Bible study: John (2022, Harper Collins) and authored the book and Bible study Meant for Good (2020, Zondervan), SelfLess (2017, David C Cook), and co-wrote the book 7 Family Ministry Essentials with Dr. Michelle Anthony (2015, David C Cook). Megan lives in Lakewood, California with her two boys, Foster and Jedidiah.
