4-DAY SUMMER EVENT FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS TO GROW IN FAITH

We know that youth pastors like you want to be influential. To do that, you need a great middle school camp. The problem is that takes a lot of time to plan… time you don’t have. Your focus should be on your students. We want to put time back in your calendar which is why we take care of planning a 4-day Gospel-based camp for over 20,000 students each summer.

A typical week at MIX

Please note: This is a sample schedule. Your event-specific schedule will be available on app.ciy.com closer to the start of your event.

DAY 1
- Afternoon check-in
- Dinner
- Evening session
- Outer Realm
- Group time
DAYS 2-4
- Three meals on campus each day*
- Morning and evening main sessions
- Group time after each session
- Afternoon recreation
- Outer Realm games
*with the exception of Skip-A-Meal on day 4

What’s Skip-A-Meal?

On Day 4, MIX implements extended rec time which is an opportunity for your group to enjoy an extended afternoon of free time. MIX asks everyone to Skip-A-Meal (if MIX is on a college campus) during extended rec. The money that is saved from skipping lunch on day 4 helps fund CIY's international initiatives.

What should my students and I expect at MIX?

MIX is specifically designed for incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. At MIX, your students will experience high-energy worship, age-intentional Bible teaching, community with their friends and adult leaders, and a practical call to Kingdom Work, all centered around the fun and chaos that is middle school ministry.
