Tegucigalpa

In Honduras, Engage partners with His Eyes and local church leaders to serve in the capital city of Tegucigalpa and beyond. Your group will get a front-row seat to see how God is at work through this ministry that’s been faithfully serving since 2000. Students will jump into all kinds of ministry opportunities: helping with children’s programs, clothing outreach, encouraging local churches, and even lending a hand on coffee farms in the mountains. It’s the kind of cross-cultural ministry that pushes students outside their comfort zone while training them to be Kingdom Workers for the long haul.

What makes this trip unique is how broad and intentional the work of His Eyes really is. From their medical clinic in the city, to eight church plants, three coffee and fruit farms, and the seven Milk Project children’s ministries spread throughout surrounding communities, everything they do is about seeing the world through Jesus’ eyes—body and soul. Your students will witness both the great need and the great hope that exists in Honduras, and they’ll come home with a bigger vision of the global Church and their role in it. It’s a trip that doesn’t just give them a week of service; it helps shape the way they see and live out the Gospel every day.

His Eyes
Motto:

Reaching Honduras for Christ

Focus:

Children’s Program / Churches / Coffee Farms / Clinics

His Eyes is an organization established to serve God’s work in and around Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The mission started in the mid-1990s with a medical focus, which is still part of what the ministry does, but God has continued to expand and take it in so many different directions. His Eyes now oversees church plants, children’s programs in multiple communities, coffee farming ministry (Hill Climber Coffee), clothing outreach, and other community projects. All of these areas have a physical component of bringing healing, but all have the common goal of reaching more people for Christ.
