  • Eric Epperson

Eric Epperson serves as the Vice President of Story at CIY, where he leads a team of storytellers and church advocates who steward the strategic vision for the organization’s communication efforts. Since taking the helm of CIY’s corporate communications, public relations, and development in 2018, Eric has overseen record growth, successful fundraising campaigns, and aligned the voice of the global organization around a spirit of fun and purpose. Eric joined CIY’s staff in 2005 and has built a career at the intersection of creativity and collaboration. His passion for making good things with good people has driven his diverse roles within the organization, from event programming to creative project management, documentary filmmaking to executive leadership. Eric holds a BA from Ozark Christian College, an MA from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!), and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Strategic Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma. Outside of his role at CIY, Eric leads corporate training keynotes and emcees events under the umbrella of Siblings Improv, which he co-founded in 2013. He also preaches occasionally at churches and events across the country. An avid distance runner and a big fan of breakfast (though not for dinner), Eric can be found patiently awaiting an OKC Thunder championship. He calls the north side of Oklahoma City home with his wife, Torrie, and their daughters. Connect with Eric on Instagram at @ericepperson.
