The Location

Granada

Granada is a city full of contrast: stunning architecture, rich history, mountainous surroundings, vibrant culture… and deep spiritual need. Spain’s younger generations are among the most spiritually disengaged in Europe. Though Spain’s past is full of Christian tradition, today less than 2% of Spaniards actively follow Jesus. In Granada, faith often feels like a forgotten story. But God is writing a new one—one of faithfulness, Spirit-led conversations, and a growing movement of disciples making disciples.

In partnership with Team Expansion, this Engage trip offers a unique blend of ancient culture and modern ministry. You will step into what God is doing in southern Spain through prayer, conversation, and relational ministry. The week will center around serving at their Discovery English Camp, reaching 100-120 Spanish kids and their families with the Gospel message. If you have skills in teaching, sports, art, or music—or simply have a heart to serve—come help kids learn and experience God’s love. No Spanish is required as you’ll be partnering with a great group of Spanish young adults and teens (who you’ll also get to build intentional relationships with to share your faith).

Team Expansion
Motto:

To multiply disciples and churches among the unreached.

Focus:

Discipleship / Evangelism / Church Planting

Team Expansion’s mission is centered around disciple-making movements. They focus on prayer, relational evangelism, and long-term church planting strategies. They’re committed to seeing spiritual transformation by walking patiently with people on their journey toward faith and by equipping local believers to multiply disciples. Much of their ministry happens in everyday spaces: over coffee in neighborhood cafés, in parks or homes during Bible studies, and on long walks through town. They also invest in media ministry by using digital tools and creative content to spark spiritual conversations and connect seekers with local disciple-makers. Through consistent prayer walking, intentional conversations, and community engagement, they are building trust in spiritually dry ground.
