Mark previously served as CIY’s vice president of operations. He joined CIY in 2006 after working 11 years in corporate accounting for Fortune 500 company Leggett & Platt Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pittsburg (KS.) State University, and is also a Certified Management Accountant. In his role as Vice President of Business Strategies, Mark oversees all of CIY’s business models – from budgeting and contracts to growth strategies and new ventures and investments. Mark and his teams also oversee the effort to bring all ministry efforts to sustainability by 2024. Mark is also heavily involved in his church – Carterville Christian Church near Joplin, MO. – where he serves as an elder. He and his wife, Nicki, also host a life group in their home every week. They have two children, Mikaela and Zack, who have attended Missouri Southern State University and Ozark Christian College, respectively.
