Inside each envelope is a challenge – anything from "Pray for your teachers every week" to "Make a Thanksgiving dinner for people in your community." When it comes to faith in action, there's no such thing as too big or too small ... there's only obedience. Here's the catch: You don't know what's inside your envelope until you agree to do it. The envelope is sealed and you NEVER have to open it. But if you do, you're committing to doing what it says.
How you choose to use your Kingdom Worker Card is up to you. Here are a few suggestions:
Hand these out during weekly gathering times when you might discuss faith in action. Ask your students to spend the week praying about it, then come back the following week and open the cards together if they're ready. It's always cool to have students share with others what their challenges are. Plus, this creates accountability and gets others excited about their own challenges.
Kingdom work was not intended to be done in isolation, and Kingdom Worker Cards are a great way to jump start service in a small group setting. They're perfect for mobilizing your small groups and rallying students together to accomplishing things larger than themselves.
Want to engage your entire group around a singular challenge? Use a Kingdom Worker Card to unite your entire student ministry around a tangible action.
