Andi and Emily are Kingdom workers —

CIY’s Kingdom Worker Crash is an opportunity for high school students to share how God has placed a desire on their heart and use them to make a difference in their communities.

This is Andi and Emily's story.

Good friends Andi Risk and Emily Power felt overwhelmed at CIY MOVE to do Kingdom work. They started the student-led initiative, “Wells for Hope,” for funds to build clean water wells in Africa. The group’s first fundraiser was a car wash, and was well-received – raising $1,300. The next fundraiser and time period that followed took a toll on the girls’ spirits as they experienced some set-backs. The girls chose to not give up, and held another fundraiser and they raised $4,000. Andi and Emily said they’re excited to see where God leads them next, and encouraged other young Kingdom workers to not feel discouraged – God will find a way for everyone to do something great for His glory.
