On this experience Engage partners with Salt Factory Sports outside the capital city of Belfast to help facilitate a VBS-type sports camp with kids. While there will be opportunities to play games with kids. Engage does not require you to be a sports superstar to go on this trip, but rather have a general ability in leading activities, competitions, and games. The camp will also be intentional with Team Times (Bible stories and teaching) for kids and youth. Being able to mix with, build relationships with, and engage with the kids is key. Relationships enable effective outreach! There will also be times of worship with the kids, so some people gifted in this area would also be an asset to the team, as well as talented photographers! Join us in Northern Ireland to partner in the work God is doing as we play, build relationships, and point others to Jesus.

Salt Factory Sports
Motto:

Bring people together through sports.

Focus:

Children and Youth

The mission of Salt Factory Sports (SFS) is to bring people together, build relationships and see people of all ages become enthusiastic followers of Christ who are living contagious Christian lives. Two specific ways SFS accomplishes this is through church partnerships and school support. SFS’s programs provide young people of all abilities, backgrounds, and beliefs opportunities to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle, become more involved in their communities, and improve their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Sharing and showing the life-changing story of God’s love and salvation is the main thing!
