Your natural talents and spiritual gifts make you, you!

As you continue the journey of discovering your Calling and what it looks like to pursue vocational ministry, something you’ll most likely learn, if you haven’t already, is the fact that you have “spiritual gifts.”

Although, the concept of spiritual gifts can be intimidating and even a bit confusing at times, understanding what they are is quite simple.

Spiritual gifts are real talents and abilities given freely by the Holy Spirit to help you serve the church and accomplish the Kingdom Work God has called you to.

When we choose to follow Jesus and the Holy Spirit indwells inside of us, He equips us to leverage our natural and supernatural gifts to make disciples of all nations and to teach them to observe all that Christ commands.

Scripture describes many different types of spiritual gifts. Some have gifts of administration, while others will have the gift of teaching, and another will have the gift of encouragement. But no matter the type, all spiritual gifts are important, valuable, and exactly what each person needs.

Realizing that God has blessed you with spiritual gifts is meant to uplift and motivate you.

It’s part of His way of inviting you into the calling he has for you.

Be encouraged that not only has He equipped you with the talents needed for this calling, but He is also continuously working alongside you through His Spirit.

So, remember, you're well-prepared and never alone in this journey!
